Haul: New Makeup at the Drugstore + Mini Review

This time of year there are so many new beauty products at the drugstore! I decided to try out a few new items. Keep reading to see what they are…

I picked each of these items up at my local Walgreens. Both Maybelline and L'Oreal were BOGO50.

Who else loves tea!?
I am crazy about tea, so when I opened up my emails yesterday and found out that Cost Plus World Market was having a 50% off all tea sale, I knew I had to go. 

My favorite types of teas are chai, green, black. Maybe the types of tea I enjoy will give you an idea on whether or not you will like some of the options I picked up yesterday.

The first tea I picked up is one I get regularly: Thai Iced Tea. I know you can probably make this from scratch using black tea, vanilla and other flavors, but to me this is a simple way to prepare one of my favorites. I usually make this by boiling about 6 cups of water and adding 5 tea bags (the amount of tea bags/amount of water depends on how strong you want the flavor). I turn of the heat and allow the tea bags to steep in the water until it comes down to room temperature. I take the tea bags out and transfer the tea into a jug and store in the refrigerator. When I want some, I pour a glass 3/4 full and fill the rest with any type of milk (coconut milk is delicious with it!). Add some sugar and you've got a refreshing iced tea for warmer days. 

The second and third teas I picked up were the Zhena's Gypsy Tea Flavors: Coconut Chai and Hazelnut Chai. This is my first time picking up this brand/these flavors and I have to admit I have already tried both since my purchase yesterday. I must say I am in LOVE. The secondary flavors really come though!

The next tea I chose is the Mighty Leaf: African Nectar tea that has a rooiboos base. I tried a rose hip rooiboos tea from Teavana, so I wanted to try another rooiboos style tea. I also heard about this tea from  +Allison Marie Amarixe (Amarixe/Allisonvlogs on Youtube)! 

Finally, I got the Twinnings Jasmine Green Tea. I can't believe I have never tried a jasmine green tea. I see different brands carry them all the time, but never picked one up until now! 

I will keep you updated on how I like these teas.
